Episode 49: Robin Behrstock – Don’t be afraid of what you don’t know, learn as you go

“Failure means you are one step closer to success”

If you’ve ever had an idea for a business you’ll know they don’t always come in conventional ways. My guest on today’s episode of Stand Out Radio, Robin Behrstock was at a bar one night, drinking a cocktail called a Moscow Mule from a copper mug. It was then that she had an idea and created Alchemade, a copper mug business which generated 3 million dollars in sales in just three years.

When other businesses caught on to this popular trend, the marketplace became very competitive and it was around this time that Robin decided she wanted to have a greater impact on the world.

Now Robin latest projects include helping startups and established businesses sell in marketplaces such as Amazon and she’s written Adventures of Women Entrepreneurs, a book of real stories behind the challenges and successes of women entrepreneurs.
